S5: Buffy wakes up in a different dimension, where she's in an 'accepted' relationship with Spike.

There was a fic that Buffy wakes up and is in a different dimension during Season 5. She's in a relationship with Spike and everyone accepts them together. While that is going on in this other dimension, back in her own reality the AU Buffy is around and in love with Spike...which confuses everyone... Also, Buffy from the weird dimension is sort of weak with her fighting skills and not use to handling the big fights.

An Alternate Attraction by PJ has Buffy switching dimensions where humans are evil and vampires are good. And Ripping Down the Walls by Peta has her being sucked into another dimension in a bid to save her I thnk. I haven't read either of them more than the first couple chapters yet (I am way behind in my reading, no slam to either story, i really liked both of them so far), so I don't know if either meets your other criteria.

mmm...no...those aren't it. It's a semi-short story. Two different worlds...Buffy is fighting Glory at the time. I think in the opening chapter Spike is coming out of the shower and says he lives at the Summers house. Buffy freaks out that Spike is living with her and tells Willow and they seem to act casual about the incident. Sort of like 'duh, Spike lives with you'.

Oh, semi-short. I almost never read stories that aren't pretty long so I probably don't know it. Sorry I couldn't help.

Is it Learning The Dance by dreamweaver? It's season 6 not 5 but other than that it sounds pretty similar.

After looking it over...a lot is the same...but stilll not it. I read it here I remember. It's not really an old fic. I know it's not dreamweaver's because the one i'm looking for has Glory in it...no future Buffy..it just has a different reality buffy.

Probably not what you are looking for as it's not during Glory time, it's after. Also it's two Buffy's in one dimension. But, I believe very similar time-lines.
