Buffy fall in love with 1880 William and gets a shock when meeting spike ca 120 years later

I remember rather little about the fic I'm searching for.

What I do remember about it is that Buffy, while she is dreaming or in a coma or something, gets transported to Victorian England and meet Spikes alter ego William, and they fall in love.

I think Buffy gets pulled out of the "dream, coma, whatever it is", on the night William is going to propose to her.

She then ends up meeting Spike when he comes to Sunnydale and she of course remembers who he is which leads to craziness I can't remember

It's a charming story but it's not the one I'm looking for. I'm quite certain that Buffy had no previous knowledge of Spike so the fic is most likeley set before Buffy ever met Spike.

Was it in season two, and the scoobies start noticing that old tintypes of Spike have him posing formally with Buffy in them all the while she is back in time with Spike? And/or (not sure it's the same story here) she has to live her entire lfetime back then (not sure how long that was) before she got bumped into her season two body again and then met Spike 'for the first time' but not really?

I'm not sure what the title of it is, but if that's it that would help find it I think. More clues to figure it out anyway.

You know when I first started helping people here a few months ago the questions were a lot easier to answer. You guys are getting more obscure with your story searches. But it's all good.

The reason why I didn't include a lot of detail is because I'm not certain that all I remember is from the same story

I also remember her almost being run over by Williams carriage , and when she gets back Spike wants to make it work but Buffy is opposed it , and Spike proves himself by capturing Angelus and Drusilla and tying them up in the library cage at Sunnydale High

but like I said....I'm not entirely certain it's from the same story which is why I decided not to include it the first time

I'm having the same problem. My 1800s time travel spuffy stories are bleeding into each other. The only one I remember clearly start to finish is Mrr Grieves and the Fallen Woman by Herself, and that's not the one we're looking for here.

So confusing. I know I've read at least the beginning of these but I'm just not sure how they progress and end.
