After Spike died, Buffy went depressed and she disconnected from her friends. Her friends glamored some girl into looking like Buffy and it was the Buffy clone that was dating the Immortal. They also wiped Dawn's memory of Buffy and has been living in Paris
Angel and Spike go to see the Buffy Clone, thinking she's Buffy when the real Buffy is in the vents and Spike goes after her.
I know in the end, Buffy made it so Giles, Willow, Xander and Buffy clone were to be within 5 feet of each other and a couple years later they come to her, begging to have the spell reversed.
Buffy clone has made 3 of Dracula's brides divorce him and Giles knocked up Willow
