Post-Becoming: Angel in Hell, Spike pre-chip; set in a supermarket (like K-Mart), pay over $2000.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this as I've been after it forever.

It's a Spuffy fic set after Becoming and it's a good few years old.

The whole fic is set in a supermarket of some sort and they argue/flirt in between picking up clothes and other things. I'm pretty sure there is an exchange over nail polish and he tries to get her to buy loads of lingerie.

He ends arguing with a battleaxe at the checkout because she complains about him being all over Buffy but she steps in and stops it.

Then when they come to pay it's over $2000 but he says he doesn't care because she's worth it.

It's not much but i hope someone knows where I can find it

Not sure if this is what you want. It's called Super Food World by Valerie X and can be found at all about Spike. One of the few fics I actually remember the name of, because it is so unusual.

Thanks but that isn't it. In the fic I'm thinking of he's still evil Spike minus the chip and Angel is still in hell. I remember reading it just before S5 started.

Oh, wow! This is one of the first fics I ever read, too, and I'd given up on trying to find it again. I love this story. I'm so glad someone else went looking for it.
