Fics with a snarky and badass Spike

I love when spike is at his most snarkiest and just .. bad ass spike. any and all kinds of storys are welcomed I just want some buffy and spike snankry goodness. something set in season 4 or early 5 maybe all human.... god this is vague but i dont really know what i want... i guess spike and buffy being forced to be around each other and there bing a ton of ust but the two of them are two busy snarking to notice it... then it hitting them...

This may seem as a terrible self-pimpage, but I wrote a story that I think could fit the bill. It's not AH, but it's complete and there's plenty of Buffy/Spike banter.

Here's the summary : Forced to be close together for an infinite amount of time, it stands to reason that mortal enemies would drive each other insane. But when it comes to a self-righteous, uptight slayer and an irritating, chipped vampire, there is no reason. This story, set just after S4, is full of banter and innuendo, so read on if you are interested. Also, Riley left to roam the jungle a little early so he isn't in the picture.

sounds FANTASTIC!!!!!! i LOVE when people pimp there stuff to me. i dont care if its canon au ah.. whatever. i just want some snark. i dont know why but i just love it when buffy and spike are at odds....

Another fic which has a lovably snarky, badass and hilarious Spike voice is Knifeedge's "West of the Moon, East of the Sun"; set in an AU season 5, it's kind of got a she said/ he said format, and after the first 30 chapters or so of Buffy's voice telling the story, it shifts to Spike's journal. Many of the things he writes about Buffy, Riley and the Scoobies are a downright scream, and in general both the Buffy-voice and the Spike-voice are brilliant and outstanding. The story is currently being posted on fanfictiondotnet, Elysian Fields and her Livejournal, with daily updates. It's my favorite fic at the moment and I highly recommend it for its engrossing plot and for all its characterizations, especially Spike's.
