I read this story a long time ago. Buffy is dating Angel, who is very controlling. She runs away to Las Vegas where she wins a large sum of money at a casino and meets the casino owner....Spike. Joyce and Giles are Spike's parents. I believe it was based on a book but I don't remember the name of the book or the author.
