I've just finished reading the latest chapter of dampersandspoons fic 'At Your Service' ( I've included a link incase you haven't read it 'cause its not posted at TSR and I'm not entirely sure where it's posted but its a awesome fic dampersandspoons fic 'At Your Service'. Basically I wanna know if there's anything remotely simlar out there in the world of spuffy fanfic... Where Spike is a vamp ( or any kind of supernatural creature ) and Buffy is human ( I don't mind if she's the slayer ) set in an AU or off canon verse... I'm not really looking for wishverse fics I've read most of them but if they're good I'm more than happy to read them

The first story that came to mind (which is a favorite) was Sideways by GoldenUsagi. Since that one has been mentioned already, here are a couple others for you to try:

A Second Chance by Pet
Summary: A man comes to Sunnydale to start a new life. He soon discovers that his new friends are hiding something. And what's the deal with that mysterious blonde woman who lives in the same house? AU - Buffy is not the slayer in this story, however, vampires and slayers do exist.

Ripping Down The Walls by Peta
Summary: In another dimension, Buffy is friendless and fighting a battle against evil much too close to home, and it is one that she knows will almost certainly bring about her end. But will being sent to fight the evil in another world bring her death faster? Or awaken her to possibilities she'd never even considered? Set AU Season Three and during NFA.

I like You Mean the World to Me by Brat.
Buffy is a super-strong witch and Spike is her vampire protector. Giles is Buffy's mentor, but he's not a Watcher. The Slayer exists, but she's in another city and doesn't make a personal appearance in the story.

Another is The World In Between by Revello 1620
Buffy Summers is the daughter of a hell god in a world where vampires are legalized and slayers have the full authority of the law. It's a future fic.

Summary: Faith is the Slayer. Her sisters are a mystical key and Buffy, a normal girl who would rather be anything but. She has always wanted more in life, to be different. The only one who understands is Spike, her vampire companion, much to her sister's chagrin. When Buffy befriends the wrong kids at school, along with their sinister father who takes a special interest in her, Spike may be the only one to bring her back, before she loses herself completely.
