So, I've been reading lots of angsty fics lately, and I'm in the mood for something completely different. Can anyone recommend some good fics that have Buffy and Spike relaxing and enjoying each other's company? Joking together, working together, quality cuddling, giggly pr0n - these are the kinds of things I am looking for. Some angst is okay, as long as it doesn't take up most of the fic. Prefer canon, but AU is okay too. Would also prefer multi-chapter fics. Am not really in the mood for manic wackiness or anything that's totally off-the-wall. Thanks in advance!

It's hard because most stories with multiple chapters go into angstyness not just fluffy niceness but I'll try.

Well, like I said, some angst is okay, especially in a longer fic, as long as there is significant time spent on the happy. After all, Spuffy just wouldn't be realistic without a little darkness, and what I am really after is seeing what a real relationship between them would look like.

Unexpected by Passion4Spike is really good..long, angsty,funny,porny. It does get dark for awhile but it balances out really well.

Summary..

Aloha My Love by Isabel is great. I remember it had me feeling all warm and fuzzy when I was reading it. Buffy and Spike go on a vacation together. They start out as really good friends then it evolves into something more. It's long and finished.

Summary: Some summer fun to cure winter blues. After Buffy suffered a nasty knee injury on the job, her friends think it would be nice to pay for her to take a little vacation. The problem is, all of her friends are too busy to go with her, except Spike. But what would a vampire do in sunny Maui for two weeks? Heat things up, what else.
