Future story, Buffy died but resurrected. Spike has Gem of Amarra

I'm looking for a story I read a long time ago. The specifics are a little vague. Buffy died, I think in The Gift, but wasn't brought back. A long time later, she is resurrected and Spike is the only Scooby left so he is charged with looking after her. He has the/a Gem of Amarra and leads a band of fighters. Beyond that, all I really remember is that there is a scene where they both cry a lot and then use eye drops (it's weird the things you remember, huh?). If anyone knows this fic, I would be eternally grateful. I've been looking for it for a long time.

It looks familiar, but I don't think so. I think the story I'm thinking of was longer, and I am sure Spike had the Gem of Amarra, which he doesn't seem to have in 100 Years of Solitude. It also says it was published in 2008, and I think the story I am thinking of may have been older.

Okay, looking at it more, he does have the Ring of Amarra, but it still doesn't seem quite right. I guess I will have to actually read the whole thing before I am sure if it is or isn't the right story. Thanks!

100 Years of solitude was posted in 2008 over the course of 3 days, but is a very old fic. Pre 2004.

The story also has eye drops. Spike's eyes were dry and burning so Buffy told him the drops were in the bathroom, bottom drawer. About half way through the fic. It's in part XII.
