Feral Spike Fics Please!

I would like any and all fic recs that contain Spike regressing to a basic instinct, feral type vampire. It could be caused by magic, extreme pain, Buffy being attack and injured, or any possible good reason. I would prefer fics that have his base self seeing Buffy as a mate and the need to protect her or make her his, both. Also any season works for me, but would like them to be well written.

Because Angel & Co. are occupied with other problems and still too fractured to work together very well, Buffy, Willow and Spike volunteer to take Dawn to Pylea and find the books which hold the cure for Lorne's illness...but of course, things don't work out exactly as planned.

Blood of My Blood by Blood Faerie
Set at the very end of Season 2 with an alternate ending to the last episode. After Drusilla dies, Spike goes feral over the loss of his sire and drags off the injured Slayer. His demon decides it wants to keep her, make her his. He nurses her back to health, but she has no idea what he has planned for her once she gets healthy enough.

Response to Challenge #101 from Skybound. Instead of leaving Buffy to fend for herself against Angel and Acathla, Spike comes back to lend a hand and gets sent to hell in Angel's place. Riddled with guilt and plagued by dreams, Buffy becomes obsessed with making things right. Will she get her chance when a feral Spike is returned from hell, or will she get something... 'a whole lot better'?

Here is a good one for you! It takes until Chapter 30-something before Spike is transferred into his feral state, but it has everything you want (especially regarding the mating) and is very well written!
