Hi,
So I just finished reading Heart Don't Lie and absolutely fell in love with it and was wondering if there were more fics out their from the same type of cloth.

To narrow it down a bit, I adored how Riley and Angel and a few similar-to-canon events occured. e.g. Oz wolf-ing in front of Tara, Angel popping out of the alley and facing off with Buffy's boyfriend....So any fic that combines the AU change of events with what is identifiable as canon would be great.

The other major thing I loved was that it was Season 4 and NOT a season five, the key/Dawn in baby form fic. I'd rather not read that type of plot today.

Hi R .... I haven't read that story by Nauti, so I'm not sure if this will fit the bill, but 'Unexpected' is AU, going off in season 2 but combines LOTS of canon within it - changing the outcomes because Spike is with Buffy to help her and the Scoobies from that point.

Not sure I follow this comment, tho:

The Key in Unexpected is a baby ... not Dawn - so I don't quite follow if that's what you want or *not* what you want ...

What I meant by the season five thing was that I've come across a lot of season five fics where the baby part is the idea that the Key or Dawn end up being the baby and therefore not the 14 year old. Hope that makes more sense.
