Yeah, I've had a basic free account for years. Personally, I find livejournal difficult myself so groan when stories are only stored there -- but many of the very best writers in BtVS and AtS tend to live there so what are you going to do? Anyway, once you go to their livejournal, as I recall, you have to ask to be friended by them, which they grant quickly from my recollection, and then you can read what they have blocked there.

When you get access, you'll probably wind up at the end of the story. Go to the bottom of the page and you'll find a small little link to go to 'earlier' pages. Click that and scroll down again. Click 'earlier' again and I think perhaps one more time to get to chapter one. Then click 'read more' to get the full chapter. Each chapter starts out on the journal page but then you have to click 'read more' to get the full chapter. Just keep doing that as you scroll up the journal page until you run out of chapters then do the same thing you did at first, but in reverse: go to the bottom of the page again and this time click 'later' or 'more recent' or whatever they are using as the opposite of 'earlier' for their entries. That's the clearest way to describe it for you when you have no experience with livejournal. Like I said, I think it's kind of hard to navigate, or at least annoying, but some really great stories are only on livejournal so it is worth it to learn how to navigate it somewhat.

Where are you looking? Have you been friended yet? Because it is the most recent in journal entries on her livejournal and the last link I gave takes you to the actual page with the final chapter on it.

The stories you mention are on archive sites like here on TSR - the DifD story is only on their livejournal but you can't access it or see it until they friend you.

It leads me to the same place your talking about, It's because they haven't friended me back yet, so that's most likely what's going on with you too. PS they do still friend back right?

I'm sure they do - I was only friended to see this story about three months ago. It's Christmas week so they may have other things going on that is delaying their attention to the livejournal. I'm sure it'll happen.

Just a question cuz I know nothing about livejournal but if you need someone to friend you back do you just hit the add friend button or do you have to message them to let them know? and if you have to message them how do you?

I had the same concern and didn't know what to do so I just friended them and then waited and went away. Then when I went back a couple weeks later I could access the site. I don't know exactly when they friended me back but it was sometime before I went back. I didn't contact them otherwise. But that was me, I don't know if that is the usual. I just know it worked. Someone else may have more info, but that's all I have to offer. I'm sorry it's not perfect, but I offer it anyway.
