Hi, so I was wondering if there were any fics in which Buffy leaves (like the end of S2 for example) Sunnydale, somehow gets involved with Spike and comes back with him to Sunnydale and faces the Scoobies.

I'd prefer if these fics focused more on the return to Sunnydale but really, as long as it looses fits the premise above, you'll have a happy fic reader.

You could try Dreams and Desotos by Bloodshedbaby over at Elysian Fields. The summary is:-

An alternate end to Becoming where Spike and Buffy leave Sunnydale together and wind up in a small New England town where nobody knows their secret identities. But the past has a way of finding them when they least expect it.

The story is complete and even though it doesn't have Buffy leaving by herself it is an excellent read.

'Catching The Night' by Bloodshedbaby definately fits the bill
I'm pretty sure it's a permanent WIP but the main plot of the story is pretty much all tied up with like 1 loose end so worth reading anyway
