I have strange craving for fics there Buffy paints Spike nails. Could be other way around too!
AU, AH or Canon. I know few myself:

one of stroies from Mr. William series by Pepperlandgirl (Buffy paints Spike's nails)
In the ARMY Now by Im_bloody_English (Spike paints Buffy's)
