Spike is a singer, becomes very famous

I read this about six months ago, Spike is a singer who is not very famous and Buffy is his roommate or something. Then she becomes his girlfriend but as his band gets more popular they break up. Then he gets really famous, and they meet again three years later or so. It has a happy ending. Any ideas? Thanks!
