Buffy and Spike are together, Spike is hurt as a result of Willow's spell

Hi, I've read this story a while ago, hope it rings a bell for someone.
Buffy and Spike are together but Willow thinks Spike is evil, and does a spell to show Spike's true nature. As a result Spike is attacked by humans at Dawn's schoold dance/prom and to show his true nature, he stays and defends Dawn until he nearly dies. Can't remember much more. Any takers?

Ah. No, I'm pretty sure that's mine and not Chiaroscuro. The part you're looking for is in the second story of Origins, specifically Revelations.

You are right Niamh, I completely forgot about the second part and for some reason blocked out that the whole story started when Buffy was dead. Thanks, your stories are wonderful.
