I hope you guys can help me... I would like to read some fics where Spike saves Buffy from being mugged or raped and after that Spuffy love evolves. All Human would be nice but I would be happy about every category.

Have you read "Books and Their Covers" by JustTiff? Spike's not really a hero... but he does save Buffy from being raped.
It's not finished, unfortunately, but it's funny (and sexy!) and totally worth the read.
