Hey everyone! I'm looking for fics where Buffy does something to mess things up with Spike, something that isn't just forgotten or moved past quickly or easily.

I was just reading Fireworks by Goldilocks (great fic!) which brought this fic request on. In that fic Buffy abandons Spike and their daughter for five years and in less than two weeks its all love and forgiveness. It's a fantastic happy fic but I'm in the mood to see Buffy really pay for her actions.

I don't care if it's slayer/vamp, human, or some combo. I just feel like reading something where she really has to deal with the consequences of what she did...

If anyone knows of any fics like that, or at least in that spirit, let me know!!

Well, Long Time Gone by bitterness is one. Spike really really doesn't come around easily after Buffy disappears on him five years earlier and then shows back up for her mother's funeral. It's AH.
