I'm not really sure how to explain what I want but I like stories where Buffy is on her own and then so how found and goes to Sunnydale. Also when she was called after Faith or Kendra and had to learn how to be the Slayer all on her own.

Check out the story Only Hope.
Buffy was called before Kendra but arrives in Sunnyville after Faith dies beating Glory.
