Okay, so we all know that one of the fake memories inserted by the monks that created Dawn involved Dawn being kidnapped (can't remember if it was by Dru or Harmony) and then returned by Spike. I was wondering if anyone knows of a story revolving around this that leads to a Spuffy relationship?

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's a fanfiction in the first place, since the off-canon comic book "False Memories" only has her take Willow's place in Innocence, no reference to Spike at all.

I do remember one fic mentioning a scene like that, but I can't remember the title right now. I'll go hunting.

(Some details: I think that it was mentioned in retrospect in a later-seasons fic. And Spike might have taken Dawn out for ice cream along the way home?)

There's a great one by Jypzrose called "The Underground" in which Dawn is kidnapped, but Spike and Buffy go to retrieve her together and Spuffyness ensues. One of my favorites. It can be found at Nocturnal Light (and SA I think).
