Spike is in Buffy's room uninvited. She comes home early. He hides under the bed. Dirtyness follows.

I've googled this extensively and cannot seem to find the fic I'm after. I swear it exists.
I read it a long time ago. Maybe as early as 2000-2003(ish). Who knows!

All I remember is that Buffy and Spike were Slayer and Vampire, as usual.
Spike was in Buffy's room uninvited. I don't remember why. She came back early from school/college and went upstairs for a 'nap'. Spike panicked and hid under the bed. He waited for her to fall asleep so he could escape, but then she started to touch herself - so he proceeded to do the same, under the bed. At some point, Buffy finds out that he's under there and tells him (I think) that he should join her on the bed next time.
I think it is a fic with more than one chapter, because I'm sure I recall another scene where he does join her on the bed!

Anyone got any ideas? It's been driving me crazy trying to remember!

I think this is a fic I read a few weeks ago. Author & title are on the tip of my tongue (so to speak!), but while I'm trying to remember, here are some more details. Maybe they'll jump-start someone else's memory: Riley comes in unexpectedly, so Spike hides under the bed again, but later joins Buffy and Riley later for a threesome. It all sounds Pw/oP, but I recall some substantial emotional issues being explored, too.

I'll keep trying to remember . . .

I want to say it was mega fluffy by the end - making with the Spike and Buffy love. And I don't ever recall Riley being in it (I don't like to read anything with him or Angel in - I'm Spuffy at heart!)

It looks like now we have two fics to find But if you do find that one if you could post the name or author I'll definitely give it a read and see if it is what I'm remembering. You never know!

The one you're talking about sounds like one of KJDraft's- unfortunately, the author has requested that his/her fics not be passed around on this site.

You're right; it was KJDraft's Stale Cigarettes. The name brought it all back. And before anyone asks: no, I do not have a copy to share.

I completely support the author's right to decide when/where/if fics are made available, but . . . it's so sad when these fics disappear.

I agree, I completely respect every author's right to withdraw their fics etc, but it is very sad when you've read them and find out you'll never get the chance for a second go! Ah well.
