An Anya-like Buffy?

I read something not too long ago and I'm trying to remember what it is. For some reason Buffy needs to be licked by some kind of demon and once it does (lick her in the mouth) she's much more like Anya. I want to say it's season 6 but I really could be wrong. I do remember Xander commiserating with Spike over it or saying something about the similarity between them. Help?!

Could it be "Strange Bedfellows" by Spike's Bint? It's on Sinister Attraction. (Unfortunately, I can't link it.) It's pretty late in the story, but after a convoluted series of events, the scoobies decide that they're tired of Buffy being in denial, catch a demon whose saliva makes people tell the truth, and ambush Buffy with it. It's on the third page, chapter 14. After that... well, Buffy says some pretty Anya-like things. Spike commiserates with Xander. It's season 4, but this section is such a match to what you're looking for.
