Spike must stay with buffy at her house

I know this is very vague. I started reading a story a couple of months ago and then got extremely busy..... now I can't find it.

All I can remember is that Spike must stay with Buffy at her house. I know there is a scene at her house were he is very cocky that she has to go out to his(?) car and get his things for him b/c it is sunny out.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? It had a very promising start to the story.

It sounds like a scene from "DUST" by KnifeEdge. It's an unpublished WIP, but she's put some excerpts up on LJ. Including one where Buffy ends up going out to fetch Spike's things from his car.

KE's going to be posting the first chapters as her Seasonal Spuffy entry ... May 1.
