Spike gets the chip removed; he breaks Xander's nose; Buffy watches him from a tree.

In trying to remember the name of a fic i read ages ago, i remember Spike goes and gets the chip removing intending on killing the gang but when he returns to Sunnydale he storms into the magic box and breaks Xander's nose and then leaves. They realize his chip is gone and Buffy sits in a tree out side his crypt to wait for him they talk and he tells her he isn't going to kill anyone but i know she stay's in the tree for a while to keep an eye in him i think he talks her into coming inside if she insists on watching him.

That's all i really remember and i know it had a Spuffy ending.

I remember this one. I believe it's set in s6. She spends the entire night in the tree and he gives her a blanket...

Uhm do ya happen to remember the title or author?

Spoilers: Through As You Were, though we can probably assume this all takes place after Season 6--all has been resolved with the Troika, Xander and Anya, Willow and Tara, etc.
