The part in 'Chosen' where Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Giles are in the hallway making plans for after the fight was stupid, hello she saved their asses for years and then they throw her out of her own house in the middle of the night, during an apocalypse, and she still wants to be their friend, no way. Dawn was the worst, Buffy died so that she wouldn't have to and then flipped burgers in a greasy hellhole to keep her out of foster care and she totally betrays her, her only real family in the whole world, and then the hug at the end "gee, where was all that worry, love and care a few nights ago." Evil vampire Spike however totally had her back.
So I'm looking for stories where she doesn't forgive them, she might still team up with them to deal with The First but that's it. She picks Spike and ditches her "friends". It could be that Spike dies and comes back later, or they both get sucked into that amulet, or no one dies and they go of together. |
