The Keeper of Truth by Trisha. I could swear this fic is now missing parts. Does anyone have a complete version? Previously there was a chapter where Spike has to kill a despondent and crazy Buffy duplicate (driven crazy with grief), now it is missing from the fic. Anyone remember this?

Yes, I was reading it at first on EF- (there is some dialog missing there too) and I did check out the version on FF.net too but did not find the missing part. Does anyone else even remember that part - where he has to kill (an alternate) Buffy? It leads up to it in the story but then just seems to skip over the whole situation...I can't figure out if I am just not remembering it right or if it's been edited out or something and it's bugging me.

Thank you all most sincerely for your help. I have concluded that I must have gotten it confused with another fic or remembered it wrong cuz the scene I was thinking of - it's just not there.

Hi there. I'm friends with the author (who is so very flattered that people are still talking about her fic she wrote many years ago) and though it's been long enough that she doesn't remember exactly what she wrote, she never edited anything out KoT, so if it was complete when first read on FFnet, it should be complete now. She also said she thought it was complete on the Nothing Like the Sun site.
