I do believe you are looking for talesofspike's series of fics that starts with Spike's Will Be Done. There are a total of 5 books in this series I do believe with a few small fics that coincide with it as well. All her fics can be found on the bloodshedverse.

I dont think this is it. I think that the demons are the reason Buffy gets with spike I will read some more to be sure though. Thank you

I have been in the fandom for many years and have never read another fic where Buffy learns of harmless demons, Wes becomes involved with a woman that has a half demon child, and Xander eats a bunch of pot brownies, other than TalesOfSpike's series of fics. The parts you have mentioned all come in later books, like 2, 3, and 4 maybe (it's been a while since I reread), but I am positive this is the series you are looking for.

The first fic in the series is much shorter than the rest and focuses mainly on Buffy being in Spike's head. This is why she gives him a chance. The later books focus on all the things you mentioned and a lot more.

Buffy learns alot about demons, Wes meets a lawyer named Marie or Maria (can't remember for sure which it is) who has a half demon daughter, Rosa, by Clem's brother who was killed by the group Riley was with when Buffy met him, and Xander does eat a pan of pot brownies at a party.

I think you need to read at least the first two fics, and maybe the third, in this series before you decide it is not the one. Not only have I been in the fandom for a lot longer than most of the active ppl now, but I have been a judge for several award sites through the years and co-owner of another for many yrs before real life got so hectic to put an end to it.

I agree this has got to be it. I think Clem's Mom is empathic or something and encourages the relationship. And the little girl calls him 'Unker Will' or 'Unker Spike'. There's birthday ice skating and other fun things and I think if you read then entire series that this one goes through the apcalypse with the first (the council comes to town) and yay, happy wedding too.
