By the way, she wasn't engaged to Connor. He was infatuated with her and Spike thought she was a gold-digger after the family fortune and seduced her to prove his point.

I searched and couldn't find it.

Buffy has a one-night stand with Spike and two years later he finds her, then discovers she has twins. He basically then blackmails her into being w him or he'll take away the kids.

If its the one I'm thinking of Spike was part of the English Nobility and met Buffy through his younger brother Connor.
