No! That was shattering.
God, I know everyone says this- but it takes a Hell of a lot to make me cry, and this darn fic made me bawl!
It was beautiful- the kind of thing that stays within you for a very long time- and yet, so earth-shattering.
I feel so saddened.
Haunting.
I'm glad that William's death wasn't just some depressed teenage suicide, because that would have wavered from the incredible character you created. A wonderful young man.
So sad.
I think the part that made me cry the most was, after a quick re-read, the line "A few of them had the nerve to act disgusted with her. To turn to their friends within obvious earshot and go into some lengthy story about how she had broken his heart just the night before it had happened." It makes my heart hurt to think that Buffy had to hear her own friends blaming her.
This was such a beautiful story, and like I said, I think the sadness of it will stay within me for a good long time, just like good works of fiction always do.

Great great GREAT fic. I read it a while ago but apparently didn't review, and since I've just finished my second re-read I thought it was about time I showed you some love :p
This is a *fantastic* story- and I'm so in love with the whole thing. Right from the very first chapter I knew I was going to love it [kiddie fics always please me!] and Sam's character is just adorable! [I'm so sad to see it end- I want to watch the little girl grow up!] Plus, Spike's love for her was incredible :]
I love Buffy the artist- such a nice way to allow her character expression and a great way to have her and Spike connecting.
Also, need I mention how INCREDIBLY HAPPY I was when we found out that Spike is Sam's real father! Such a great twist- especially considering how long he spent wishing for that exact thing. Plus, I think his reaction was perfectly natural.
Anyway- I'm probably gushing far too much, but I feel the need :]
Great work- great writing!

The yummy sushi pyjammas in the fancy Itallian restraunt was just magnificantly funny! I laughed so much. Then the encounter with Faith was more than a little chilling. This is great stuff- a really good chapter with just the right mix of comedy and spine tinglies. I liked the ambiguous ‘No you already have.’ at the end of the story, letting us decide for ourselves if Buffy was thinking it, or if Angel was thinking it. I for one hope it was a little Buffy-confession :) I love this!

Breath-taking, That was pretty damn awesome! Love the ambiguity of it all too- you give us no clues to which season it takes place in, but that just makes it all the more interesting; giving us the ability to read it in different contexts. Reading it from a season two perspective is very different to reading it from a season six perspective. Either way- this is fantastic.
