I've just taken the wild ride through your magnum opus for the second time and loved it even more than the first. So glad that Angel is gone for good and that Willow has been demagicked.
Can't help wondering what Xander's reaction to that little revelation is going to be. As far as he's concerned she can do no wrong.
So glad that Faith has got her own hot vamp so she has no need to start poaching Buffy's. Also that it has it has been proved that it's not 'unnatural' for there to be an attraction between slayers and vampires. So reassuring for Buffy.

Very poignant. Shows her pain and his desperation to help her any way he can very graphically.
Summary: Angelus makes his way back to the mansion during "I Only Have Eyes For You" where the ghosts of old tragic lovers possessed him and Buffy. Angelus is furious at being made to feel "love" for the Slayer again. He heads out with Dru for a "vile kill" and comes across the Slayer who seems to be lost in thought. In his rage he drains most of her blood and leaves her to die. This is not the end of our heroine as Spike, who can now walk (unknown by Angelus and Dru), sees the fall of the Slayer. What will he do? Will he let her die? Or will he give her a new life to help him get revenge on his Sire?

I've just popped in to re-read for about the tenth time, and that scene with Xander and the window still cracks me up. I got to that 'laughing silently 'cos I didn't have enough breath to make a noise and tears streaming down my face' stage. Brilliant.
What's not brilliant is that it's been nearly 18 months since an update. Pleeeease don't tell me you've abandoned this fic? It really is one of my favouritest 'Buffy comes back from the dead' plots. Besides, we're about to get some Angelbashing... aren't we?

BRILLIANT!
I never understood why Buffy just went straight back to the house after they'd chucked her out and they never mentioned it again except the potential's 'we were being punished' comment.
Glad Buffy struck out on her own with Spike and then went and kicked Angel up the bum.
Outstanding 'what might have been' fic with totally realistic alternatives to everything that happened on the show. I'm just left wondering what happened to that poor old woman in the pyramid tomb... is she still waiting there........?

I know I was reviewing this story somewhere... but I can't remember where! So wonderful to see an update. Hope Spike comes back soon. Daft numpty. Buffy should open up to Giles, not Willow! Good to see Xander & Giles going hunting for Angel, I hope he suffers appropriately for his attack on Buffy and gets sent away with a flea in his ear... or dusted. Dusted would be good. More soon please.....
