I'm so excited to see an update! I was so afraid you'd abandoned this story.
Glad to see Buffy opening up to Willow. Shame Xander couldn't stop talking long enough for them to be able to creep up on Angel - or is it Angelus now? The soul may still be there, but the demon seems to be overwhelming it. Bit worried about who he's going to pick as his mate - poor girl.
Glad to see that Giles is aware that Xander seems to think he has a right to know every little detail of Buffy's life. That was one thing that really bugged me on the show. Everyone's entitled to their fair share of privacy!
Hopefully once Buffy has explained what Happened they'll start a concerted search for angel..
Summary: Set in the world of the The Wish. So I read this chapter and then realised I hadn't got a clue what was going on. It's been So Long between updates I'm going to have to go back and read from the beginning again - but that's no hardship. So happy the story hasn't been abandoned. Just one thing I have to say though - loved the Spike & Angel confrontation and the fact that Spike won!

Summary: This is the sequel to Me and a Gun written by Stephanie. Stephanie and Tasha are writing this sequel together. This picks up at the end of the previous story. It would be helpful to read that story, but the summary is that right after OMWF, Buffy is caught in the cemetery, raped, shot, and left to die. Spike sees the perpetrator leaving the crypt, and then he smells Buffy's blood. He finds her inside, and the rest follows. (There is NO actual rape in this fic, but we are dealing with the aftermath that Buffy goes through because of it.)

I've only just found this fic via the 'random story' thingy, and can't believe I've never seen it before. It rocks!
I've never read a VampBuffy story set in season 7 before, and this one is a doozy. I love the way Dru turns up to help, and she makes Buffy the Master of the Aurelian line! Whatever will Angel say? So Buffy isn't interested in feeding on Dawn, although I wouldn't blame her for wanting to hurt any of them, the traitors. She's not your average vampire, is she?

Oh I just love this fic! From just one altered decision everything changes... with Faith giving up evil the whole emphasis of the end of season 3 is completely different. I love the fact that Buffy realises straight away that she can be independent and puts Angel behind her, and then meets Spike and the magic is there! I love that Buffy finally helps Angel resolve his Angelus issues and that Xander accepts the Spuffy. I'm glad you made a point of including Willow's selfish controlling nature... but I want to know what she's done to Buffy and how Spike and Angel and the rest of the Phoenix Investigations team can help her!

Just loved this fic. I can really understand Buffy without memories preferring Spike, after all he is the one who always tells her as it is. Although seeing Angel as a baddie can be fun it's nice to see him portrayed here as a supportive friend...
I'd like to hear more about the extended group in LA, and I'd love to know how the Scoobies manage the Hellmouth without Buffy & Spike!

It's always interesting to see how the fanfic builds off each other to create itself. I figure if I later want to write a sequel to my own fic, even if someone else chooses to, I still can.
Having said that, there probably won't be a sequel, from me anyway. But if you know someone who writes spuffy and wants to continue it, or you want to continue it, feel free. I'd love a link to it when it's done and a link to my original story would be nice. :)
I'm glad you liked it, and yes I normally make Angel evil but I just felt like they needed someone on their side, and sometimes Angel can surprise you and do the right thing. :)
