I loved this chapter. Especially Spike telling off Dawn. She made me the most mad in Empty Places. Buffy jumped off of a 100 foot tower and was electrocuted the entire way down by mystical energy for Dawn. Remember the speech Buffy made in The Gift abut how much Dawn means to her? I coulnd't believe Dawn could do that to her sister.

This reminds me of that Buffy/Dawn scene in Forever. Dawn/Willow acting like a HUGE bitca to Buffy, not understanding where she is coming from or feeling. And then, being put under such emotional pressure, Buffy breaks down and reveals exactly how she feels and things get better. And as much as you are mad at Dawn/Willow for verbally attacking, you are glad that they did because Buffy finally let out her emotions instead of trying to be strong and protecting people.

The previous events with Riley have taken place sooner, and he left for South America before Joyce gets sick. Joyce doesn't die, and Dawn is just Buffy's sister, no key, and no Glory. So I guess you can say it goes completely off cannon and onto A/U from there.

I remember being so disgusted that Spike did it with Harmony when he got his body back. Ugh. After he had been with Buffy, after Buffy said those three magical words. Even if he was thinking of Buffy while he was doing it. I can't imagine being Buffy and walking in on that.

I kind of love emotionally vulnerable Buffy. She just makes me feel for her so much when she says stuff like "was I not good?" or "you don't want to be with me?" I love when she said "I-I thought we were...seeing if this could work? Do you not want to?" Its about time that Spike saw this my-heart-is-open-to-you Buffy. She really was quite young and all of the guys she has been with were more experienced. She didn't know what to do. Nor should she at such a tender time.

I loved that fight between Spike and Angel. It is really weird since I had a dream very similiar to it last night. I have to write down what Spike said to Angel because its exactly how I felt. Its why I stopped shipping B/A. Angel was her first everything and yet he was never really there for her, he left her, he had flings/etc with other women, and yet he expects her to always be available for whenever he is feeling like less of a champion.
