ive just read 'Because of You' by TammyAsh666, 'Fighting For Love' by Tami Brandt and a few other and I was wondering if anyone could suggest any fics along the same lines. You know the ones where Buffy is raped, abused, bullied or attacked etc. and spike saves/helps her. They can be dark and angsty but is must have a good Spuffy ending. I like the all human ones best but any fic is good. preferably Completed works but if there is any WIP's that stop at a logical place or gets updated regularly I'd read them as well

Goes AU after S5's Checkpoint. Five years ago, Buffy and Spike fell into a portal to a dimension ruled by demons. Finally, reunited, their goal is to get back home. However, the years in this dimension have changed them. Spike's long isolation keeps him distant, and Buffy's enforced life at a brothel has caused her to forget the Slayer she used to be. Somehow, they'll have to find themselves again to defeat a powerful enemy and make it home.

I think this author definitely takes pain and suffering straight to the very core of anyone's heart. The words she writes are powerful indeed, but dark. I'd definitely read with caution, but I do highly recommend because she does deal with Victim Buffy quite a bit in various parts of all of her stories. Areanna Whitewolf

I'd point out one over the other like especially: The Shadows that keep you safe (a definite Victim Buffy story), The Blood that Runs, or even Slayer Origins Series, but the fact is they all have a darkness and Victim Buffy is there in them all at some point. If it's not her it's another character suffering through turmoil and pain to finally becoming a survivor.

Check Areanna's stories out, but be warned they deal with some serious heartache and pain too. Plot's are fantastic! I just hope she doesn't take them down!
