An amazing chapter - I actually got a bit choked up at one point!! Beautiful and hot and sad all at the same time. Please don't let him leave her - ever. Loved every word.

That...was what we in the biz like to call 'A TOUR DE FORCE OF HOTNESS'. Also, I'd like to direct your two characters to the name of this story. I believe it's called "Speak Now" or something, writting by a talented woman by the name of Vanilla though she is anything but. Perhaps if they were to read the title, they would know that SPEAKING NOW would be a fantastic idea, not only for my own selfish desires but because they'd probably avoid a whole mess of angst. But then, this would only be like 5 chapters long and wouldn't that suck serious donkey balls? I'll just go ahead and tell you that the answer is, "Yes". So, *props chin up on fist and plays with a stray thread on my pants with the other* when are you going to update this again? How does tomorrow work for you? I mean, I'll be here and everything ready to read so you should just go ahead and get on that, mmkay?
Author's Response: Well, I fear the two characters of which you speak suffer from this little problem called "insecurity". It's a travesty, really, considering they're both so damn hot, but there's little one can do. It's an ailment that must be worked out through hours of sex and the judicious application of way too much beer. As long as the next chapter doesn't suck quite so badly as the original version of this update did, it shouldn't be too VERY long. So stay put. In that chair.

But I don't like how Spike is so down about himself. Like he isn't worthy of her. I don't like that. He is worthy. He needs to learn how to love himself and learn that he does deserve wonderful things.

After treating myself to a day reading Spuffy, I lost track of what fics I was reading and what were WIPS and what were complete... I love this story, I do.... But I thought it was complete and when I got to the end of this chapter I literally shouted out loud NOOOO!!!!! Please update soon!

I just caught up with your beautiful story in one sitting and can I just say...wow. Reaching the end of this chapter was just about the saddest thing ever. Mooooooore!! Please : D The way you've written Spike and Buffy is just so honest and believable, and it's often really hard to truly find that in a fic. The whole night you've written for our pair--I can totally imagine all of it. I think we've all had those wonderful, partying, cheer-up nights with good friends and the nostalgia alone gave me warm fuzzies. Having Spike for such an evening would definitely be a plus. : ) Oh and the next time I host a party, I'm totally using your recipe for the "Buffy"!

WOW, i just got caught up on my reading and can I say what brilliant chapters they are darling. I like that Spike didn't want to be her first for obvious reasons, but oh boy is Buffy ever insistent. Hmmm, methinks the gentleman doth protest too much - but it won't last. Looking very forward to the next chapter boo. Ready for some hot luvin and hopefully Spike won't leave or at least take Buffy with him. Bravo sweety.

Nice twist with Buffy being a virgin; Spike was a real gentleman. So he is already falling...
Difficult for Buffy when Spike will leave; maybe she should go with him ;-)

i love how spike is the vulnerable one here, even though he's the one with all the experience, and she's the one with such a traumatic day. i really like how they're interacting - trying to not fall too hard, but failing miserably. :D
