Glad to see Spike has managed to shake that horrible world view Buffy has. Looking forward to more. Unfortunately I have to drag myself away or the next chapter of The More Things Change will never get written. But I'll be back to read more of your story as soon as I can.

Great update. It was good to see a bit of William's past. And the tension between Buffy and Joyce is weird. Not in a bad way, though. It makes for some good reading. ;)

first off sorry your trip took longer than planned but im happy that u updated. i love this story and i really want to see spike and buffy get together, i really hope that buffy starts to understand that shes not wat she thinks she is and that shes a good person and that spike cares for her. also i hope that they come to love each other and form a happy relationship. please update as soon as u can, cant wait to read more. thanx

i'm sorry, but i don't understand this story. i thought she wanted him to want more from her than just sex. i'm not sure about the last part about who she was. all she seems to be is a phone sex operator. i don't know what the big deal is, it's not like it makes her a whore or anything, but now with the way she's acting, she's starting to seem like one. i just hope she'll get over it soon and give spike a chance, or she will just keep on being miserable. i'm hoping for some more spuffy of the non-sex kind.

Buffy and Spike were lucky Joyce didn't send Rupert outside to check out what the noise was. Poor Buffy it's so sad her opinion of herself is so low. I liked the dinner conversation between Spike, Joyce and Giles. Can't wait to read more. Great update!

Oh yeah, he's breaking her down slowly. I kinda like this Buffy - thinking she's not worthy of a relationship/Spike. Kind of a nice twist from some of the usual Buffy behavior in fics. I'd like to see her throw herself at him repeatedly and Spike shoot her down every time till she does see. Update soon please.

So Joyce did hear something last night? I wonder too if Giles knows more. Loved the talk between Giles, Joyce and William. Seems too that Buffy lost all of a sudden her appetite. Because she thinks Spike wants a relationship? We'll see :)

Wow...Buffy has a lot of issues it seems. I hope she learns to accept Spike's attentions. A lot of women would kill to have someone like him! I hope she opens up to him and he doesn't stop til she does and they're together! Great chapter! UPDATE SOON PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
