Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the latest but my update schedule may seem sporadic and that's because I'm working on other BTVS fics...non-spuffy fics. Everything is updated according to my muses and sometimes they simply aren't in a Spuffy-love mood. So I'll work on my crossovers or B/A fics. Way cool update. I loved the explanations. Faith's line at the end was priceless about the poetic Blondie. LOL. i loved it! Happy to see an update of this one. I was confused when I saw a repeat of the same chapter ... a little disappointed, but I knew you'd figure it out. Glad to see the new chapter.

Interesting story but to be honest this perfect Buffy is really boring. There is nothing remotly interesting about her, I just find her to be very boring and dull. She is all knowing and all powerful and really boring to read about. Does being imortal make you completly uninteresting? Hate to complain and it's not that she is powerful that makes her boring it's more the way that she is perfect. It just makes for a very dull character that I can't care about or relate to in any way. It's like a story without conflict in it, I mean what would be the point?

It leaves no room for her character to grow or change in anyway, there is no personal journey for her to take after she got the the whole phoenix thing going. Spike is also close to being sickenly sweet and perect, he was my personal favourite on the show because he was so complex and full of flaws that even though he was a vampire he seemed to be the most human of the group.
