Duh.. Joyce's friends couldn't stop arguing because of Buffy. She seems indeed ready to fly now, only Spike noticed. And he was the only one defending her (except Joyce and Dawn).
They should know better, they know Joyce.
Interesting tidbits again: Buffy is the source of the Slayers' power.

Loved the last two chapters. You can always count on Xander to say or do something stupid. ; ) But I found this time to be hilarious. After learning how deadly a person Buffy is, he first insults her, and then harms one of the people she would do anything to protect. lol Looking forward to more.

I think Buffy misinterpreted Spike standing up and was hurt by his action. Fortunately she heard him speaking up for her. Xander, being an ass nearly cost him his head. Maybe he learned something??? The powers of the Slayer comes from Buffy??? I so want to hear that story!!! Excellent chapter!!! :)
