I loved it, and I don't mind one bit that it'll be longer than you were planning on. I should actually thank Vara for it :D

Not easy to decide what to take with you. Maybe a vamp who had to back often / travel light will have less problems.
Bad the Council is already after them. I don't think there is a traitor but trackers are possible.
Looking forward to more.

What happened to Clem and his family? I don't remember you saying anything about that. I could just be dense but what do you mean by 'trackers on their targets'? magic or technology and targets as in the scoobies or something else all together.
