I came acroos this today and right away it grabbed me and I couldn't stop reading it till I got to your last update.I'm so blown away by this story and blown more away guessing or just waiting to see what happens next. This is writing at it's best I find myself caring what happens to everyone in this gang outside of the Buffy and Spike relationship. I haven't enjoyed a story this much since watching the shows on tv. Love your work and hope to see a update soon.

I like that you used Rack. Actually, I like that you managed to use pretty much every character of BtVS and AtS, and use them well. Great chapter.

OK. So, he rapes her every night, keeps her against her will, threaten to kill her family if she runs away, and he's what? Disappointed that she doesn't like him very much? Yep, I got what you were trying to hit at with the Harmony scene. Disturbing, but it was a nice way to show Buffy what her future would be if she doesn't start fighting. I think she got it ;) Actually, she'd be really dumb not to get it. I guess I'll see in the next chapters.

Wow eveyone and their Aunt Fanny is telling me to read this so I started it tonight and it is so worth a read now I'm emailing it off to everyone I know as well.

Mmm Buffy doesn't believe Spike that she's more for him then sex.. but she is. I wonder if his plan will function... Harmony got hurt before from his people. I see.. Spike thought of something. And he couldn't sleep without Buffy, huh? ~ At last he told Buffy his nightmare.. but I'm not sure it will change things no.. he's leaving and didn't really tell much.

Author's Response: If I made her have shower sex, I would've felt like she was just forgetting everything she hates about him OR she was too drunk, and I don't really want the sex to come from drunkenness, at this early point anyway. My friend and I are total fans of this fic and have been discussing it since the get go. We were talking last night about it and remembered wasn't Spike suppose to give her a gift or something? Then we were trying to figure out what he could get her without it making her seem like a prostitute or mistress to him or make the others curious. Jewelry was out and so was money. We decided on a pet kitten he finds on a job see it trys to attack Dru lol also cause see it will be alert when lackies try to come to her door plus it will try to attack Illiria and Faith and hiss at Harmony. Nothing says Buffy better then a little angry kitten in Spikes book we decided. It was just a funny conversation on following this great fic you keep us both entertained with. We seem to keep guessing on this fic more now then on the spoilers for Veronica Mars we keep hearing!

I so flipped when I saw you updated! Poor Harm I hate her too seem like such a loser in all of this I wonder where she even came from to end up there to begin with.
I like Spike sometimes sheepish actions or when he messes up and almost says the wrong thing it makes me smile. I really enjoy this story it's writing at it's best.
