Great story. The plot really kept my interest from beginning to end. I liked that Dawn and Spike were close again and that Ilyria continued to be protective of Spike. I was wondering what Spike looked like in the end though. Was all his hair back - did he dye it back to blonde? Was he very scarred? Just the right mix of description and dialogue - it was very well written and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks!!
Author's Response: Sta- I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And, if you're interested- there is a sequel called "Vanishing Point" more of his appearance is described. We all know that the blonde is dye- so if his natural hait grew back in, it would be brown. Have you seen pictures of Mr. Marsters after "Spike?" Think of that when you want to know what he looks like in the next story.

What a great story!! It's so nice to read a well-developed, thought provoking plot! This is one of the first fics I've read in ages that actually had me wondering about the end.... usually I can guess the outcome after reading a couple of chapters.
Good job..... it's hard to write in the Buffy medium and not be predictable... you wern't.
