Love it :) Spike was not to pleased when Buffy mentioned that he wanted to leave the clan and live alone. He (his demon) sees Buffy as his. But both told now that they love each other... and Spike did even ask her to 'marry him'. I wonder if Angelus will aloud it at the moment. But maybe it will make it better (easier) for the clan if Buffy is mated to Spike? We'll see :)

It seems as though Christian is getting layers...hmm. Riley was freaking me out for a while there. I'm glad that Spike and Buffy are reunited and safe for the moment. Whew. I wonder what Giles will make out of Buffy's eventual debriefing. Good chapter.

Happy to see an update!! I wonder in light of what is happening with Buffy, would she and Spike be allowed to mate? Then again, it might cement her bond with their clan..

*breathes a sigh of relief* Oh Good! Good good good! Buffy's safely back with her clan, and soon-to-be mate, Spike. You know, I really love the way you make the whole vampire world a little more rigid with rules, customs to follow and ranking. I've read enough fics without any of those rules in it and this one is like a breath of fresh air (OMG I'm quoting Paula Abdul). It's a very nice change.

Still as riveting as ever, and this is a great chapter (mostly because it made me happy Buffy's safe) *LOL* so... hope to hear from you soon!
