Aww, I love the last sentence before the epilogue. Its so sweet! I can imagine soulful Spike doing just that.

Its a great short fic, but there's just 1 tiny error - William was turned in 1880 so he couldn't be borned in 1798 :P

Anyway, thanks for sharing your fic :)

OK, you got me - totally not expecting that. However, a measure of comfort can be found in that Spike's shiny new soul was of some use to him after all - it finally got him and Buffy in the same place. Nicely written - thank you for posting.
