Hehe…let me first convey my utter astonishment at learning Spike fancy’s white wine over red (even in his subconscious)! Omg, the shock was soooo extreme I felt it all the way down to my toes! Oh my, and how well mannered he was to help set the table, not to mention the way he lavishingly drank in Buffy’s carefree appearance while coming down the stairs! I think everybody in polite society should blatantly compliment the people they find attractive by fully showing their absolute appreciation in a single expressive look when they make that oh-so-memorable first eye contact with that unique someone. And to take it to the next level as flawlessly as Spike did, catching Buffy about the waist steadying her in an exquisite embrace…*nods head* outstanding reflexes on that lad! Hehehe…nice bathing scene might I add! Lol…there really is something enticing about a guy totally helpless and under your complete control and….*ahem* manipulations. *grins innocently* Nicely done, my friend, nicely done! xxxx

Great chapter - so sad about Spik ehaving been on the way to Joyce and Buffy's! I'm glad to have read the backstory though, because now the good stuff can start, and then the Spuffy goodness, lol. Can't wait for more as soon as you're able to update. Take care, C ; )

Ohhhh, that was an interesting twist. Almost like fate intervened when Joyce died to make sure Buffy and Spike would meet. *sigh* Though I'm sure Spike's poor head would have preferred it if fate had a gentler touch. ; )
