I liked Buffy conversation's with Willow and Fred. Willow's line about Clairol owning Buffy's soul was very funny. Fantastic update!
Author's Response: Thanks! And LOL glad you liked the Clairol line.

Well, it is technically a crime for them to get frisky, at her age, in CA. We have some of the strictest stautory rape laws in the entire country. If a girl has her shoes off while alone in a car with a male of age, he can be charged with statutory. So frankly, they're really lucky that someone hasn't made a formal complaint to the cops over this.
There's nothing wrong with Buffy having doubts at her age. It would be better if they held off until she's older, anyway. What teenager is really prepared for a grown-up relationship? You're just not.
Author's Response: Thanks for the information. I'm aware of California's laws; where I live they're not quite so strict, but I DO live in the US. Buffy is definitely not ready for the relationship to progress...but unfortunately, that doesn't mean it won't.

Oh, she better be because if she hurts Spike, Buffy is the one that's going to be beaten with a shovel. Just kidding, but I really hope there's some fluff in store.
Author's Response: LOL. There's not much fluff for awhile, but stuff won't suck entirely. =) Thanks for the feedback!

"As far as Buffy was concerned, reason could go do some very nasty and explicit things to itself." LOL!! That was excellent. Loved the chapter. Fred is so great. Very much looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Hee, glad you liked it! Thanks. ♥

I really enjoy this story, Buffy's characterization and her interactions with Spike. I am however having a problem with tremendous deal everyone is making of the age difference. There is the question of the legal age of consent but as that is 16 in most states it's not really an issue. My mom was 18 and my dad 35 when they started dating and they never had any problems. Admittedly that was about 30 years ago and people might be more inclined to harass people about an age difference now but 17 years is a lot larger gap than 10. Also May December? Anna Nicole Smith and her dead husband were May December marrying at 22 and 93 respectively. Buffy and Spike in this story are more April May. This may just be my concern at being lumped in with Spike as December which is just too frightening to contemplate. So it's sounds like I'm being really critical but I really don't mean to be, it's just when I was sixteen I would have loved having a sexy older boyfriend. I can't imagine why Cordy and Harmony are supposedly grossed out instead of jealous.
Author's Response: You make a good point--but one of the big problems with Buffy and Spike's relationship right now is her age. There's a huge maturity difference between 16 and 18, and Buffy might not be ready to deal with her relationship yet. Cordelia and Harmony might actuallyt be jealous, but they know it will hurt Buffy to be "grossed out", so that's how they act.
Thank you for your feedback!

AHA! No Spike in this chapter either! You're doing this to torture me aren't you? Well, stop coveting that pie, you can't have any til I can have some Spike! :P
Good chapter, even without Spike. lol
PS: What does this mean?
"stuffed animals shredded in the wash"
Cos that sounds a little more than icky....
Author's Response: You know, when stuffed animals get too worn out, how they sometimes just fall apart when you run 'em through the washing machine? That's what it means.
If Spike is sans clothing, do I get double the pie? *innocent smile* Thanks for reviewing!

Thank god theses flyers are down. It's hard enough for Buffy without people getting reminded. So Fred will be coming? :) Loved the chapter!

You can slowly read the wear and tear that Buffy and Spike's relationship is having on Buffy..I am still rooting for them..depspite the underage thing. Will be interesting to see what is going on with Spike.. Great update!
Author's Response: I'm so glad people are noticing that! Buffy and Spike are both having trouble--but it will come out right in the end. Thanks for the review!

It was interesting to read Buffy's POV about all the harassment. Sad, but completely reasonable with all the pressure Buffy's has that she's having second thoughts. I'm looking forward to finding out where things go from here for our favorite couple. Great chapter!
Author's Response: For all her maturity, Buffy's still a teenager, and the pressure's getting to her. I'm glad you're enjoying it--thanks for the review!

"Joyce gave her A Look. Capitalized." lol I know those looks very well. ; ) Loved the chapter. I think that you have all of the characterizations down, especially Buffy and Spike. Considering that, I wasn't really concerned with Buffy's hissy fit. She complained on the show, but still did what needed to be done. It is the towel throwing part that worries me. The name calling would bother me too, but if she wants to be with Spike she does need to fight for it and not give in so easily. I'm already sad and scared for Spike since you are doing Buffy's character so well. Hopefully I'm wrong. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you! And...um...you're kind of right. ;) The constant disapproval is wearing on them both. Thanks for reviewing, hun!

Poor Buffy has alot on her little and so-very-young shoulders. Great chapter.

Did you think I wouldn't notice the absence of Spike in this chapter? Well, I did. *cries* No pie for you! Ah, just kidding, in my own crazy way. Good chapter, I'm glad Buffy caught herself with that little hissy fit. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: But Spike's in the next chapter! ...I think. *covets pie* LOL. I wanted to remind people that Buffy still a teen, however mature. :) Thanks for the review!

Carrie didn't pour blood on the kids picking on her. They poured it on her on prom night and in turn, using her supernatural powers, she locked the entire gym down and killed everyone and eventually burned the whole place down.
Just saying, if you're gonne reference a classic, get it right.
Author's Response: HAH. Wow, I must be dyslexic today. *facepalm* Thanks for pointing that out.
