Brilliant chapter, Elena. Very much liked how you had Buffy handling Spike's insecurities brought about ehr won slip of the tongue, and I absolutely loved the groups defence against evil--by becming that which they fought against. Light, amusing and serious all at the same time. Like I said, brilliant.

Really enjoyed the banter in this chapter. The school cafeteria scene was very funny. I hope Buffy and Spike can make it through this part without too much trouble. The teasers will have to get bored eventually.

Seriously..My wish for Spuffy does not mean that I am completely blind to the implications of a relationship with Buffy and Spike's age difference. I do understand that he problem has more to do with her age right now rather than the actual age difference..
One thing I do know..The heart wants, what the heart wants..and it is not impossible for something real and lasting to bloom from the heart of a 16 year old girl..That being said, I can see doubts eventually arising... not only from outside sources, but from Buffy and Spike themselves. I would say this is pretty natural giving her age. I am still rooting for love to overcome all in the end..* of course*
Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Oh, I'm so happy you're seeing it the way you are. You're getting what I'm trying to show people--that it's not always wise, but these things happen anyway. I intend to show the consequences of their relationship, not just a cute Spuffy tale. ;) Thank you so much for the feedback!
