Nancy is growing.. growing to near hate Buffy I fear. She's getting jealous because she thinks Giles prefers Buffy. Do the Watchers have any power of who gets Called? I wonder if the Watchers would kill a new slayer they didn't like until they get one they find fitting. Oh yeah A domesticated lion I like that *g*

Love the Nancy is not a replacement for canon Buffy. And I love that Giles is in agreement about the council's responsibility. I await their plan to deal with this whole situation. And Willow being Buffy's friend, so much like the first season... which I was just watching yesterday. Really loving this story. Looking forward to the next update.

Before I even read your quick note..I had planned to write about Nancy. Wheras I always loved cannon Buffy..I most definately am starting to hate Nancy. The more that I read about her character the more OFF cannon she comes accross! AMOF I am getting the vibe that her jealous nature is going to cause Buffy, Spike and Giles problems in the future..

i started reading this from ch 1 at 9pm and just finished ch 37. i couldn't stop. can hardly wait for more updates. excellent. i LOVE Spike in love. so sweet.

Loved loved the interaction between Buffy and Willow. So glad you still made them friends in this story. I always loved the connection they had. This chapter was also a nice little break from the angst.

I love this fic I started on it a few days ago and could not put it down per say lol. Not many authors have the talent of writing out a story like your reading a great novel and you have. I don't really ever read alt/btvs fics but yours is outstanding. Your dialog with Buffy and Spike is right on. And your character development between both characters isn't rushed. So often you see writers jump the gun on instant Spuffy it botches the whole fic up. This is a outstanding piece of work and a real pleasure to read you do Joss a real honor here with his characters. I cannot wait for more and look forward to reading more of your work. Truly outstanding.

Love the juxtaposition between Buffy in this chapter and Spike in the past--the way he reflected on their first days together and regreted being so mean and the way she looks back and can see despite the difficulty, he actually saved her. Spike is wondering if Buffy can forgive him as she's realizing that she's in love with him. The way she snuggled him in her sleep he got all angsty and the way he's drawn to her warmth. A perfect pair. And the girl talk, that was fun too. (And it would seem that our boy was eavesdropping.) Loved it. Can't wait till Monday!

Just read all 37 chapters. Loving the story. I really like the realtionship between Buffy and Spike and the trust they have in each other now. They've both gone out of their way to improve on that relationship and it's evolved into love on both parts. Liked the chat between Willow and Buffy. Hopefully, she will help with the council getting their due. Hope Giles will get on board with them. Reading Howard's journal has got to make him furious.

So he did hear them talking! I guess it's just about time for Buffy to own up to her feelings then. Wow, she sure has come a long way in this fic. Still loving it.
