Am glad to see that Spike and Buffy are actually talking about co-existing together apart from their sexual relationship. I can't wait for them to start pursuing the murderer of Buffy's mother. Great chapter!

well it is getting really good. except that i think Buffy dose not deserve a guy like spike i mean he is willing to go an eternity with out love but to give all his love to her. i mean dude is she that much of a heartless bitch. sorry for the language but i had to get that off my chest anyway Addie i think it is one of your better stories and i have a lot of them. so please keep it going. ps or at least have buffy come to turms with her feelings for him that way it dose not seem so sad for him. or make him seem pathetic i hat to say that last part.(hangs head down in shame)

Lovely chapter! It was nice to see them actually talking for once instead of letting their emotions carry them away (which I'm sure will happen again). This story still has me hooked, I can't get enough of it!

Oh people are so damn inpatient. You had to move the relationship between Spike and Buffy forward alittle bit so they can work together to find out what really happened to joyce. FINALLY for all the gods Buffy listened for a change and realized it was not all about her selfishness. Geeze, I am so glad she got a grip. Spike was awesome as always, letting out his emotions,showing that vampires do have them. I mean they get this blood lust for feedng right? well why can't they have other emotions too? Great turning point chapter. You are moving this story along fine. Don't listen to inpatient people. You are the writer and in control. The muse will do what the muse will do. Now get moving with the muse and write more LOL.

well... this is really a great chapter! buffy and spike had a lot on their mind.... to discuss, to admit, and to share. Their relation was stalling and a tad repetitive with the mindblowing sex, followed by denial and rejection, and then again the hurt and the need....and repeat from start! don't get me wrong: this was totally believable at the beginning of their relationship, their bodies craving for sex and their minds refusing to acknowledge the need (not only in the physical sense). Spike was the first to come to his sense and to realize the truth... now, buffy begins to understand and tries to see his point of view.
what i appreciate most? their bantering's back! :D

Yes, this chapter really did move things along. Spike's epiphany was a good start for moving things forward between them, and I liked the line "All he had to work with now was the present, and what it would mean for their future." I love that they're bonding over pursuing Joyce's killer. The common goal should bring them closer.

great chapter. i can understand that buffy wants to avenge her mother personaly, and i get that spike wants to protect her......maybe spike could train her to be a better fighter.
