Great chapter, and I very much enjoyed this chapter. I have to be honest- I had a flashback to childhood. My dad was a bit of a bar fighter and a drinker, and when Spike said, "Come on, I'm drunk and I just got into a bloody fight. You can't honestly expect to have a real conversation about any of this right now." I was really reminded of home... just take out the 'bloody' part. :-)

AWWW i love this story and am so happy that u updated. i really hope that spike and buffy find who killer joyce and that they kill him or her. also i really hope that spike and buffy work things out and that become a happy couple. please update as soon as u can, cant wait. thanx

How much Spike has changed since Buffy has come into his life..She has become his conscience and his soul. He is learning what it is to really love someone...When Buffy asked him would he go back and do it again, and he said that he would have claimed her right off the bat and took her somewhere nice..Well..I just melted right there. He truly loves her.. I really hope that Buffy finding her Mother's murderer will help her heal and be able to move on with her life with Spike.. Thanks for the great update!

Great chapter in their coming to an agreement on moving on to a new path together. I can only hope that Buffy asks Spike to train her in fighting. That way she can unleash all that tension and anger into something constructive when they are shut in. (Though the motel may suffer). Loved it! Thanks for the update.

But he tells the truth and maybe that was the right thing to do. (Well he did before too. But maybe Buffy believes him now.) Maybe it was progress. Spike could only hope. Me? i've read all the chapters of this story today... my eyes are bleeding but it was worth it! :D
i must say there were things i didn't like in the beginning... the non-slayer buffy, and spike's behaviour (u did warn us, though... lol).... but i kept reading 'cos u're a great author and i was sure there were good reasons for all that. guess i was right! (about u being a skilled one, lol)
buffy has now gained the physical strengh to be his equal.... and spike is doing a great job at being... spike! putting his mate happiness before his own (and sometimes losing it in the process... but we love him anyways...), just trying to be loved, still not feeling worth enough. hope buffy will see through his demon, and love both him and the man!!
ok.... hope u can understand all my ramblings! i tried to sum the 24 reviewed i owed u into a big one!
