Baby steps are good. I can live with baby steps. I was worried that they would not be as comfortable around each other as they used to be, that they would lose the small progress that they had made. Plus the baby steps mean that the story is going to be longer. ; ) Loved the chapter.

AWWW im so happy that she did something for him, it shows she cares. i love this story so much and am so happy that u updated. i really hope that they stay in this kind os mood and that they become a real couple and are happy. also i really want buffy to admit her feelings for spike and they they reclaim each other. please update as soon as u can, i cant wiat to read more. thanx

Spike confused Buffy. She couldn't understand the sign he's giving her. Oh, it's so complicated.. Buffy doesn't want Spike, but she needs him. But Buffy came to the conclusion that Spike don't want her. Au the contrary :) But know Spike thinks its all because of the claim and nothing more *sigh*. And now Spike thinks Buffy doesn't love him, never will. So sad.. but good chapter. Looking forward to the next one :)

Guh! Halfway through chapter 5 and I have to say...you've hit the nail on the head with this story! How will Buffy get past her anger? If she does how will the rest of the gang react? Personally, I don't think Spike killed Joyce but I'm not sure and I'm dying to find out. Once again the characters are spot on. I don't know whether I'll be able to stop reading long enough to review every chapter but I'll review again when I 've reached the end of what's written. Thank you for such an enjoyable story which remains so true to the original characters!

Still with you, I'm a novel at the moment and there is one thing in it that is the same like your story. In both stories the couple doesn't understand each other. They don't talk about their feelings and insecurities. It's like the houses of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, separate but with a small brigde connecting them. There shouldn't be 2 houses and a bridge, it should be one house.

Plus Buffy is really subborn and good at saying the wrong thing.

a very good and intense chapter. i wonder how this continues. It's very passionate and sad at the same time. I feel so sad fo spike as well. I hope things work out for the two.
