I believe that Spike is spot on with what he is doing here..Buffy is obviously extrememly conflicted about what she feels and wants. She will not admit the truth to herself. Until she does have some kind of revelation, them having sex is just going to confuse her more, and cause more set back..

Poor Spike..The running to the bathroom is adorable. Hope he gets some relief soon. : D

AWW i think that buffy should just admit her feelings and then they could get together. i love this story and am so happy u updated. i really hope that spike and buffy get together soon and that she caves into her feelings. also i really hope that she sees that he loves her and that she loves him too. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more and see wat happens next. thanx

Buffy is really punishing the both of them. I guess she is only doing what she thinks is socially proper. Hope she realizes that she is mated and mature enough to deal with her sexual feelings. Good chapter!

Spike should already know that any plan he makes involving Buffy is doomed to fail. Though his attempts at making this one work are fun for everyone else. Great chapter. Excellent chapter. Getting Buffy a room with a balcony was very sweet. I like that Spike is going to wait for Buffy to accept their relationship. Judging from her reactions in this chapter, he shouldn't have to wait too long. ; ) Can't wait for more.

Loved this chapter! Great transition of the Spike of before to the greatness that will eventually come. Sure he's still evil, but you captured how he is always willing to change for her, no matter what universe.

Two excellent chapters really moving the story and relationship forward. The flashback was an excellent device to show Buffy's learned wariness. Spike's got a ways to go to earn her trust, but he seems willing and able. Seeing to Buffy's creature comforts is the easy part, but it was a good start.

Rest. . . espite. . . and a unspoken truce. He gives a little and she does too. . . . so now where do they stand? Everything iis changing and its almost like starting over. Will she be able to get over his treatment of her -- this was really sweet and a nice break from all the angst.

Still with you, HELL YEAH!!!!!! Awesome inner dialoge with Spike. Sorting through what he really wanted. I am so glad that Buffy is calming down a bit. They have things to work out,but I think if they both stay calm they can do it. I loved the teasing in the end. totally brilliant. I bet she doesn't hold out too long.

That was a lovely chapter. Your Spike is quite different from canon Spike. He's reflective. Takes time to consider the effect he's had on her and then plans a way to convince her of the integrity of his intentions.

I can't recall, has he actually told her he loves her? This slowing down of things. Taking time to rest and luxuriate in a nice hotel is all well and good, but it would also be a good time to sit and try to have another conversation to air their intentions and concerns.

Starting with showing a little trust would go a long, long way.

Great chapter, pet.
